1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to CroFam Link (accessible via crofam.link). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CroFam Link web interface, decentralized identity registration, and related software applications (collectively, the "Platform" or "CroFam Link").

By connecting your Web3 wallet, registering or renewing an identity handle, customizing a profile, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue access and use of the Platform immediately.

2. Non-Custodial & Decentralized Interface

CroFam Link is a decentralized, non-custodial software application that interacts with public blockchain networks (primarily Cronos). You explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• No Custody: CroFam Link never takes custody of, holds, or has access to your digital assets, cryptocurrencies, ERC-721 NFTs, private keys, or wallet seed phrases.
• No Fiduciary Duty: No brokerage, agency, fiduciary, advisory, or partnership relationship exists between you and CroFam Link. All interactions with smart contracts are executed solely at your own instruction.
• Asset Recovery: Because we do not control your non-custodial wallet credentials, CroFam Link cannot recover lost private keys, passwords, or mistakenly transferred assets under any circumstances.

3. Tokenized Identity Handles (ERC-721 NFTs)

CroFam Link handles are non-fungible tokens ("NFTs") minted on the Cronos blockchain under the ERC-721 standard.

• Registration & Term: Handles are registered for a specified period (e.g., 1 to 5 years) upon payment of the applicable registration fee in USDC or valid authorization.
• Expiration & Grace Period: Upon expiration of the registration term, a handle enters a 30-day grace period during which only the current owner may renew it. If not renewed before the grace period ends, the handle token becomes subject to public re-registration.
• NFT Transferability: As an ERC-721 token, an active handle may be freely transferred, gifted, or traded on secondary marketplaces (such as Mintpad). The holder of the NFT in their wallet at any given time retains full administrative control over the associated profile.
• Non-Refundability: All blockchain transactions, smart contract registrations, gas fees, and protocol payments are final, non-refundable, and irreversible.

4. User-Generated Profiles & External Links Disclaimer

The Platform allows handle owners to curate public link-in-bio profiles containing custom display names, bios, avatars, social media URLs, external websites, and cryptocurrency addresses.

• User Responsibility: You are solely and exclusively responsible for all content, links, and wallet addresses posted on your profile.
• No Endorsement or Liability: CroFam Link does not endorse, investigate, monitor, or verify third-party links, decentralized applications, tokens, or external destinations published by users. We assume zero responsibility or liability for phishing attacks, fraudulent schemes, malicious smart contracts, or financial loss resulting from visiting external links listed on user profiles.
• Prohibited Content: You agree not to publish links promoting illegal activities, malware, hate speech, copyright infringement, or deceptive impersonation.

5. Content Moderation & Web Indexing

While handle NFT ownership is decentralized on the immutable blockchain, the web hosting interface (crofam.link) is a curated access portal. CroFam Link reserves the absolute right, without prior notice or liability, to:

• Un-index, delist, or block public web rendering of any profile displaying malicious, fraudulent, illegal, or infringing content.
• Block system-reserved routes or addresses engaged in trademark violations or severe platform abuse.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CROFAM LINK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL CROFAM LINK, ITS CONTRIBUTORS, DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, DIGITAL ASSETS, OR ACCESS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, SMART CONTRACTS, OR TOKENIZED HANDLES.

7. Jurisdictional Compliance & Prohibited Countries

You represent and warrant that you are not located in, a citizen or resident of, or under the control of any country, territory, or regime subject to international sanctions, embargoes, or strict digital asset prohibitions.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of CroFam Link complies with all laws, regulations, sanctions, and restrictions applicable in your jurisdiction. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, access to or use of the Platform is strictly restricted or prohibited for users residing in, citizens of, or accessing from:

• The United States of America (and its territories).
• The People's Republic of China (where secondary trading of digital collectibles, tokens, and cryptocurrency transactions are restricted or prohibited).
• Sanctioned regions, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Venezuela, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
• Jurisdictions with active bans or restrictions on digital asset and cryptocurrency activities, including Bangladesh, Bolivia, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Nepal, Qatar, and Tunisia.

CroFam Link reserves the right to implement geo-blocking or technical restrictions to enforce compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

8. Modifications to Terms

CroFam Link reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any modifications constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
