1. Overview & Web3 Principles

CroFam Link (crofam.link) is built with a privacy-first, non-custodial Web3 architecture. We firmly believe in data minimization. You do not need to provide your real name, physical address, email, or identity documents (KYC) to register an identity handle or explore profiles on our Platform.

2. Information We Process

To provide a functional link-in-bio interface and verify handle ownership, we process limited categories of information:

  • Public Wallet Addresses: When you connect your non-custodial wallet, we read your public hex address (e.g., 0x...) to authenticate ownership of ERC-721 handle tokens.
  • Public On-Chain Data: We query and index publicly broadcast blockchain records on the Cronos network, including token IDs, handle registrations, expiration timestamps, and ownership transfers.
  • User Profile Data: Any public data you voluntarily provide to customize your profile (such as display names, bios, avatar image URLs, social links, and listed external addresses) is stored and served publicly on your link-in-bio page.
  • Technical & Connection Data: Temporary IP addresses and network headers processed purely for DDoS protection, rate limiting, and security logs.

3. Information We Never Collect

Because CroFam Link is strictly non-custodial, we never collect, store, or transmit:

  • Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet recovery words.
  • Wallet passwords or local keystore files.
  • Government-issued IDs, bank details, or credit card numbers.

4. Public Blockchain Immutability

Please note that public blockchains (including Cronos) are transparent, globally distributed, and immutable ledgers. All token mints, handle registrations, renewals, and wallet interactions are broadcast publicly and permanently recorded on the blockchain. CroFam Link cannot alter, hide, or erase data stored on the underlying decentralized network.

5. Local Storage & Cookies

We use local browser storage and minimal functional cookies solely to:

  • Preserve active authentication sessions and connected wallet state.
  • Remember UI preferences and theme configurations.
  • Record acceptance of platform policies and terms of service.

6. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

To deliver our services, CroFam Link interacts with trusted third-party infrastructure providers:

  • RPC Node Providers: To read and broadcast transactions to the Cronos network.
  • IPFS & Storage Gateways: To fetch and render decentralized media and avatar assets.
  • Wallet Connectors: (e.g., Crypto.com Onchain, MetaMask, Rabby, WalletConnect) to facilitate secure cryptographic signing directly within your browser.

We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to reflect platform enhancements or regulatory developments. Any revisions will be published directly on this page with an updated revision date.
